This week, I had the privilege of speaking at the NEXT MBA event in Almaty, Kazakhstan - a truly memorable experience that brought together some of the world’s most inspiring and disruptive minds. Sharing the stage with standout profiles, including Jordan Belfort (The Real Wolf of Wall Street), made for a powerful and thought-provoking conversation.
In my talk, I explored a theme that feels more relevant today than ever: It’s no longer enough to be ready for change - you need to become the driver of it.
Leadership isn’t a title you’re given - it’s a behaviour you show. It’s the way you act, the mindset you cultivate, and the energy you use to move people forward. In a world shaped by disruption, uncertainty, and innovation, leaders must be willing to lead from the front - embracing change not just as a reality, but as a mission.
The atmosphere in Almaty was absolutely electric. The audience's energy, curiosity, and openness made it clear why NEXT MBA's mission - bringing world-class learning experiences to wherever people are - is so important. It’s about democratizing access to ideas, inspiration, and the tools needed to drive transformation at every level.
Huge thanks to the entire NEXT MBA team for making events like this possible, and to everyone in Almaty who made the experience so special. I’m walking away energized, inspired, and more convinced than ever that the future belongs to those who lead it.
